Hope Through Collaboration: The Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute NBTI doctors and patients share their stories. "I'm doing great, my prognosis is great—I plan to mess up the statistics!" PJ - Brain Tumor Survivor A second-year medical student when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, PJ went to work as a researcher in a NBTI laboratory, hoping to make a difference for patients everywhere. Nathan's Story The future is bright for this vibrant teenager who is studying at Wellesley College. Just three years earlier, Annie and her family were faced with uncertainty when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 16.
