Lynne I. Wagner, PhD, is a psychologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and is affiliated with the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute.
Dr. Wagner specializes in health psychology, specifically oncology, and she maintains a clinical practice at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center. She also serves as the member representative from the American Psychosocial Oncology Society. Her research focuses on improving quality of life for adults with cancer.
Dr. Wagner is the lead investigator or co-investigator on numerous federally funded research studies and has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and several textbook chapters.
As Chair of the National Cancer Institute-funded Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Patient Outcomes and Survivorship Committee, Dr. Wagner provides leadership at the national level in overseeing the measurement of patient-reported outcomes in cancer clinical trials and in advancing a program of psychosocial and cancer survivorship research.
