Aruna Ganju, MD, is a neurological surgeon at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Associate Professor in Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and is affiliated with the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute. Dr. Ganju specializes in degenerative conditions of the spine, spinal column and cord injury and surgical treatment of tumors of the spinal column and spinal cord.
Her clinical research involves treatment of spinal column and spinal cord disease, specifically traumatic, degenerative and neoplastic processes. She also is investigating the outcomes for people with post-traumatic syringomyelia and the effects of surgical treatment on basal energy expenditure in those with lumbar spondylolisthesis.
Dr. Ganju has written several articles for peer-reviewed journals.
