    Stacy Sanford, MD, is a licensed clinical health psychologist at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center (RHLCCC) and is affiliated with the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute. She is an assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

    Dr. Sanford’s clinical interests include psycho-oncology with a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults with cancer. She is also certified in behavioral sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

    She founded the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology (AYAO) Program at RHLCCC and serves as the co-chair of the multidisciplinary workgroup, which promotes research, advocacy and standards of care for patients diagnosed between the ages of 15 and 39 years.
